Hard to believe with such ease there’s actually an inconvenience, but there is. Here’s the downside to shopping online:

Shipping costs – When you shop online there are usually shipping costs involved.
Potential for overpaying – If you buy at the wrong time of day, you may overpay.
Hassle-prone returns – You may be tempted to keep an item you don’t like in order to avoid the hassle of returning online.
