The summer season is here meaning many families plan on taking a vacation. Before you book your hotel stay there are some tips you should know that will save you extra on the cost of your room.

For example, don’t ask for an upgrade. Instead, ask for another kind of “experience”. You may also try asking for another guest’s cancelled room. In some cases, this works well.

When possible try booking the room a month in advance. Travel off season. Hotels will jack up the prices during peak seasons.

Consider staying on a Tuesday and Sunday. Those days have shown to give the best deals for guests.
