Do Tuition-Free Colleges Exist?

College can be a costly investment. Every year, students graduate with a degree in their hand and thousands of dollars of debt on their shoulders. If you’re lucky, your parents prepared a college fund for you. Or, if you’re a whiz in school, and have other extra curricula activities on your resume, you could win scholarships and grants. There is another option many people don’t always consider – tuition free schools.

Believe it or not, there are schools out there that will allow you to attend tuition free. Of course, you’ll need to still pay for room and board, and textbooks. Take Berea College for example. A student attending this Kentucky college can work 10 hour a week and in return get a tuition scholarship worth $97K. Other tuition free schools include: Alice Lloyd College and the Webb Institute.
