Asking For an End of Year Raise

Now that it’s the end of the year, it may be the perfect time to ask for a raise. However, just because you ask doesn’t mean you’re going to necessarily get it. It’s best to present a strong case, so your employer is excited to say yes. The best way to present the case for your raise is to focus on the value that you bring to your client or employer.

In addition to adding the value, talk about the future value you will add as well and how much money that’s going to make them. Also, demonstrate your value in numbers. The better you are at that, the more likely you’ll be to get the raise.
