Credit scores is a brief look at your financial history. It shows how you handle money and helps lenders decide if they can trust you when it comes to letting you borrow money. If you don’t have a credit history or what the Credit Protection Bureau labels “credit invisibility” this can be especially difficult for you. In the past, you needed credit to help establish your credit history. The downside was, you couldn’t get credit without a credit history. Now, some companies are changing the old ways of doing things. One company in particular, Petal, is offering a zero-free credit card to people that have no credit history. Credit scores are important but now they’re not the single most important factor anymore.
