Think tax loopholes are only for rich people? Think again. Average working people can get tax loopholes too. Here are a few to be on the lookout for.

• Low income tax loopholes: You may not get a loophole, but you do get a credit. There are two kinds: the first is the kind that enables taxpayers to receive funds and then there’s the one that allows taxpayers to reduce the tax amount.
• American opportunity: This is a tax benefit that expands the Hope credit that can be claimed through tax year 2017.
• Earned Income Tax Credit: This credit is for low income families who haven’t earned a lot of money.
