Before moving into a new rental, you’re likely going to have to put down a deposit. If you want to get it back when you leave there is one thing big thing to remember….report any and all maintenance issues that have happen as they pop up.

If a regular maintenance issue pops up that turns into a disaster, you may be on the hook for damages. For example, say there’s a leaky roof. Report it right away because other wise you could be on the hook for anything that happens next such as mold damage.
